Preventive Dentistry
Teeth cleanings, x-rays and yearly exams, including oral cancer screenings, we have all your preventive dentistry care covered. Each visit will be tailored to your unique needs while always offering the highest level of care. Routine visits should be maintained twice a year in order to catch early signs of dental decay and disease.
Composite Fillings
Composite fillings, also known as white, tooth-colored, or resin fillings, are a dental restorative material used to repair decayed, cracked, chipped, broken, or worn teeth: Made from a mixture of powdered glass and acrylic resin, composite fillings can be customized to match the color of your natural teeth. A dentist removes the decayed or affected part of the tooth, then places the filling in its place. The filling is built up in layers using a blue light to cure it. Composite fillings are strong, resist cavities, and can withstand moderate chewing pressure.
Periodontal Disease Treatment
Periodontal disease, also known as gum disease, is a bacterial infection that affects the gums and tissues that support your teeth. Dentures and Veneers
Veneers and dentures are both dental treatments that improve the appearance of teeth, but they differ in their purpose, structure, and maintenance: Veneers are cosmetic, while dentures restore both the appearance and function of teeth and the jaw. Veneers are thin, custom-made shells that adhere to the front of your teeth, while dentures are removable prosthetic appliances that replace some or all missing teeth. Veneers require regular oral hygiene, while dentures need to be removed and cleaned daily, and adjusted regularly. Veneers can last around ten years, while traditional dentures last 5–8 years on average.
Extractions
Tooth extractions are one of the most common type of oral surgery procedures. There are two types of dental extractions, simple extractions and surgical extractions. Bone Grafting Procedures
Bone grafting is an oral surgery treatment that involves replacing bone levels in the jaw. Usually due to missing teeth, bone loss is ongoing and needs to be treated to support a denture or dental implants. A bone grafting procedure involves taking bone from the patient or a donor source and placing it at the site of bone resorption. Once the sutures are in place, the area is allowed to heal for a few months to let the bone grafting material and jawbone integrate.
